COLD MICROPERFORATORS = cold perforation technology with pin cylinders was first employed in the ’60s. Nowadays it is still a widely used technology with a high value-for-money. In the more basic models, the material flow activates the perforation roller, while in the top-of-the-range models the perforation process is controlled by a motor.

HOT MICROPERFORATORS =  With hot needle technology, the hole is the result of the melting of the material induced by heated pins.
The pin cylinders are mounted on a perforation roller. They are heated by special lamps up to a temperature of 400°C.
This technology creates homogenous holes and was developed in the ’80s.

COLD MICROPERFORATORS

MICROPERFORATOR TBI 100

The Microperforator TBI100 is a solution for perforation of film on a moving web of different materials such as PE, PP, PU, paper and aluminium. Simple, efficient and easy to install, its perforation roller is propelled by the motion of the film. It guarantees homogeneous holes in plastic film and it is suitable for a wide range of packaging solutions.

MACHINE DESCRIPTION

A cold microperforator unit for various applications, the TBI100 consists of a perforation group made of a perforation roller, on which the pin cylinders are mounted, and a counter roller, which can be made of natural fiber or rubber depending on the material to be processed. The latter brings the film into contact with the former.

The perforation roller is driven by the motion of the material and rotates accordingly, up to a maximum speed of 200 meters/minute.  This system offers a good value-for-money  solution. Pneumatic cylinders that move the counter roller close to the perforation roller easily activate the perforation process. An integrated Adjusting Penetration System regulates the depth to which the pins can penetrate the material, thus allowing for modification of the diameter of the holes.

The unit is compatible with all production lines.

MICROPERFORATOR TBI 100 MVS

The Microperforator TBI100MVS is a solution for perforation on a moving web of different materials such as PE, PP, PU, and paper. Its oversized perforation roller structure guarantees perfect and homogeneous holes even in thick materials or where high-density perforations are required (up to 48 pins /cm²). It is suitable for a wide range of packaging applications.

MACHINE DESCRIPTION

A highly durable cold microperforator, the TBI100MVS is the motorized high-speed unit of Laserpin The TBI100MVS consists of a perforation group made of a perforation roller, on which the pin cylinders are mounted, and a counter roller, which can be made of natural fiber or rubber depending on the material to be processed. The latter brings the film into contact with the former.

The drive system, consisting of a driver, servomotor, and encoder, makes it possible to adjust the rotation speed of the perforation roller to the running speed of the material (up to a maximum of 300 meters/minute). The synchronization of the speed ensures an accurate diameter and the uniformity of the holes with both high and low densities of pins. Pneumatic cylinders that move the counter roller close to the perforation roller easily activate the perforation process.

MICROPERFORATOR ZP10

Il The Microperforator ZP10 is a solution for the perforation and embossing of sheets of different materials such as PE, PP, PU, paper, aluminum and wood. Specially designed for the working of sheets in the lighting, acoustic and interior decoration industry, it is perfectly suitable for a wide range of applications, including food packaging.

MACHINE DESCRIPTION

The ZP10 does both perforation and embossing and works on most materials. It is designed to specifically work on sheets and it operates as a stand-alone unit. The unit is composed: by a feeder on which the operator inserts the unprocessed sheets, which are then driven in the machine by a motorized system, aided by a sensor, to be perforated.

A perforation group made of a perforation roller, on which the pin cylinders are mounted, and a counter roller, made of rubber, The latter brings the film into contact with the former.

A Penetration adjustment system allows, also in the working phase, to regulate the pressure between the counter roller and the perforation roller, determining in this way the diameter of the holes in the material.

Once the micro-perforation process is complete, the sheets are automatically collected on a collection table. The standard version of the ZP10 has a useful width of 600m or 1200m. Customized versions are available for specific needs.

MICROPERFORATOR EASY CHANGE 60

The Easy Change 60 is designed to be installed on a hosting unit for micro perforation on a continuous film line (I.E. unwinding-rewinding units, slitters, extruders, printing machines). It is suitable for any kind of material. It can be used for embossing and blade perforation as well.

The Easy Change 60 is designed to be installed on a hosting machine for micro perforation on a continuous film line (I.E. unwinding/rewinding units, slitters, extruders, printing machines). It is suitable for any kind of material.

A cold microperforation unit, it is ideal for customers who regularly need different kinds of perforations on a line (different densities). It has up to four perforation rollers integrated in the unit, allowing for a fast and easy change of the single rollers to adapt to different perforation needs. The big plus of this feature is that there is no need to stop the production while changing the roller, thus making it perfect for work on extrusion lines. The perforation rollers are changed by a flywheel.

Pneumatic cylinders that move the counter roller close to the perforation roller easily activate the perforation process. HOT MICROPERFORATOR

MICROPERFORATOR H100

The micro perforator H100 is the lightest model of Laserpin’s hot perforation range. It guarantees perfect micro-holes in all types of thermoplastic film. The operating speed can reach a maximum of 150 meters/minute. It is recommended for low-density perforations and with thin materials.

MACHINE DESCRIPTION

The H100 consists of a perforation group made of a heating system, a perforation roller, on which the pin cylinders are mounted, and a counter roller, which can be made of natural fiber or rubber depending on the material to be processed. The latter brings the film into contact with the former. The heating system consists of two sets of infrared lamps with a starter power of 8Kw per meter, with segmented power on three independent power channels, PID managed.

They optimize a balanced temperature over the entire surface of the pin cylinders. The temperature control system maintains the constant value chosen for the perforation process, thus uniformly heating the pins and guaranteeing a homogenous quality of the holes. When perforating with hot needles the hole is formed by melting and sublimating the film, forming a neat hole. It is ideal for perforation of both mono and bi-oriented film. The micro perforator has a hardened steel structure frame, with a high degree of rigidity.

All the mechanical parts are designed to operate at high temperatures. The drive system, consisting of a driver, servomotor, and encoder, makes it possible to adjust the rotation speed of the perforation roller to the running speed of the material (up to a maximum of 150 meters/minute). The synchronization of the speed ensures an accurate diameter and uniformity of the holes especially in the case of low density (pins/cm²) perforations. The operational settings (speed, temperature) are controlled by an innovative touch screen system. Option: a laser sensor can be fitted to stop the machine in case of a material break.

MICROPERFORATOR H150

The microperforator H150 is the standard model of Laserpin’s hot perforation range. It guarantees perfect micro-holes in all types of thermoplastic film. The operating speed can reach a maximum of 200 meters/minute. It is recommended for perforation of different hole patterns (high or low density) and for materials with a thickness of 12 -40 μ.

The H200 model is the top-of-the-range product of hot microperforators, designed for the processing of large quantities of material. The operating speed can reach a maximum of 240 meters /minute. It is ideal for perforation with both high density and low density of pins.
